Born and bred in Sydney, Sally's extensive knowledge of this beautiful city and its interesting harbour foreshores is there to be shared. Initially, her career began in Fashion Design, later Retail Visual Merchandising, which led her to travel overseas, experience new and challenging work opportunities. With a career change in mind, Sally studied Hotel Management in Switzerland at SHMS, where she gained professional working knowledge of hotel operations which later proved to be invaluable experience. Sally has worked and lived in London, Munich in Germany, Montreaux in Switzerland and where she learned to speak German and French. Upon returning to Australia, Sally worked for Voyages Hotels and Resorts at the remote Ayers Rock Resort in the Northern Territory, the beautiful boutique hotel Lakehouse in Victoria, and beachside Stamford Grand in Adelaide, South Australia. Her experience in these 4-5 star hotels and resorts involved the areas of Public Relations, Conference Sales and Banquet Management. In 2004, Sally began her career in tourism and now works as a Professional Tour Guide enhanced by her membership in IATG - the Institute of Australian Tour Guides. |
